Who We Are
Bulamu Access Foundation (BAF) is a Ugandan-based non-profit organization established in 2014 and registered in 2019 working to strengthen community participation in the fight against maternal mortality and improve access to healthcare and Medicare services in rural (impoverished and marginalized) communities, refugee camps in Uganda, through outreach, civic education and peer-to peer and multi-dynamic interaction. Our organizational goals encompass a wide range of healthcare initiatives, including improving maternal and child health, promoting positive health-seeking behaviors, educating adolescents on sexual and reproductive health, and reducing unsafe abortions and early pregnancies.
